About The Position

Exercise Physiologists orient, monitor, and evaluate patients receiving Exercise Myocardial Perfusion or Pharmacologic stress tests. They maintain a smooth flow for testing to minimize patient wait times. This position is on-site at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and is described as optional part-time work when needed to cover PTO or sick time.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology or a related field.
• Knowledge of basic 12-lead ECG and arrhythmia recognition.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for the Healthcare Provider certification, or an AHA-approved equivalent, is required within 90 days of hire.
• American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is required within 6 months of hire.

Nice To Haves

• ACSM Exercise Specialist certification and/or Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist certification.
