Requirements
- Requires MA/MS degree in physical education/exercise physiology.
- Completed internship of at least 400 hours in cardiac rehab and ECG interpretation skills required.
- Exp. in clinical research in fitness/cardiac rehab preferred.
- 6 mos. of exercise testing/leadership in cardiac rehab req'd.
- BLS and ACLS required.
- ACSM certified exercise test technologist or equivalent exp.
- Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities
- Develops individual exercise programs, leads exercise sessions and administers assessments.
- Case manager for assigned patients.
- Provides health education in cardiovascular disease risk factor reduction and life-style mgmt.
