About The Position

This position is for an Exercise Physiologist within Cardiac Imaging and/or Cardiac Rehab. By applying to this posting, candidates will be considered for both current and future Exercise Physiologist opportunities across the health system. The role involves conducting exercise testing and/or providing cardiac rehabilitation services for patients with cardiovascular and pulmonary conditions. The Exercise Physiologist will develop and implement individualized exercise programs, monitor patients during sessions and testing, provide education on heart-healthy lifestyles, document patient care, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to achieve positive patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, or a related field
• Previous clinical Exercise Physiologist experience or completion of a clinical internship strongly preferred
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of hire

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Conduct exercise testing and/or provide cardiac rehabilitation services for patients with cardiovascular and pulmonary conditions
• Develop and implement individualized exercise programs based on patient needs and clinical guidelines
• Monitor patients during exercise sessions and diagnostic testing, including vital signs and ECG interpretation
• Provide education on exercise, risk factor reduction, and heart-healthy lifestyle changes
• Document patient care and progress in accordance with departmental standards
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to support positive patient outcomes
