About The Position

Responsible for monitoring, evaluating, and educating patients receiving Intensive Cardiac Rehabilitation (ICR), Cardiac Rehabilitation (CR), Pulmonary Rehabilitation (PR), and Supervised Exercise Therapy for Peripheral Artery Disease (SET for PAD), chronic disease management, and primary and secondary prevention programming.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology or related field is required.
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days.
• American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required within one year of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Internship in a cardiopulmonary rehabilitation program is preferred.
• Masters Degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology or related field is preferred.
• Participation in State and/or National Professional Organization preferred.
• ACSM Exercise Specialist and/or Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist certification preferred.
