The Executive Team Leader Specialty Sales is responsible for leading teams in Apparel & Accessories (A&A), Beauty, and Electronics. This role focuses on driving sales through active selling, compelling visual merchandising, and ensuring a positive guest experience. Team members in this role will be involved in tasks such as pulling, filling, pricing, setting, staging, and maintaining the sales floor and backroom. Target aims to provide meaningful experiences that help team members build skills for a career. This role offers knowledge in guest service fundamentals, retail business fundamentals (sales trends, inventory management, guest shopping patterns, pricing, promotions), and experience in setting and planning department workloads. It also involves managing multiple specialty businesses, understanding competitors, and managing a team of hourly team members and leaders.
