Team members in these departments prioritize guest experience while ensuring product availability and ease of shopping through tasks like pulling, filling, pricing, staging, and maintaining the sales floor and backroom. Target aims to provide meaningful experiences that help team members build and develop skills for a career. This role offers knowledge of guest service fundamentals, retail business fundamentals (including sales trends, inventory management, guest shopping patterns, pricing, and promotions), experience in planning and managing workload to support business priorities, and the ability to manage multiple specialty businesses and balance team member expertise. It also involves experience managing hourly team members and leaders, creating business-specific strategies, and skills in recruiting, selecting, and talent management.
