The Executive Team Leader Service & Engagement is responsible for leading a team of Guest Advocates and Service and Engagement Leaders to exceed guest service expectations. This role focuses on decreasing wait times, fostering friendly guest interactions, and service recovery. The position drives total store sales by understanding departmental contributions to profitability. Key responsibilities include anticipating staffing needs, talent planning, recruiting, managing leaders to ensure training and development, and engaging in meaningful development conversations. The role involves personalizing recognition, establishing a culture of accountability through performance management, understanding business reporting and guest insights, and quickly responding to negative guest experiences. Additionally, the Executive Team Leader owns schedules to support peak traffic and key events, manages the store experience by anticipating staffing needs based on guest traffic and sales fluctuations, and ensures Team Leader schedules support a frictionless experience across all shopping preferences. The leader champions physical and digital offerings, ensuring the team can inform and educate guests about Target's benefits and features, including the Target RedCard and Wallet. They also ensure the team stays updated on promotions and events, utilizes guest survey reporting to drive change, and leads the team to deliver an efficient guest pick-up experience. The role requires working a schedule that aligns with guest and business needs, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends, and demonstrating a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance. As a key carrier, the individual must follow all safe and secure training and processes and address store needs, including emergencies and regulatory visits.
