The Executive Team Leader Service & Engagement is responsible for leading a team of Guest Advocates and Service and Engagement Leaders to exceed guest service expectations. This role focuses on decreasing wait times, ensuring friendly guest interactions, and service recovery. The position drives total store sales by understanding departmental contributions to profitability and managing staffing needs, talent planning, and recruitment. The leader is responsible for developing their team through consistent feedback, personalized recognition, and establishing a culture of accountability. They will utilize business reporting and guest insights to identify and address areas of opportunity, and quickly respond to negative guest experiences by de-escalating situations. The role involves managing schedules to support peak traffic and key events, ensuring a frictionless experience across all shopping preferences (checklanes, SCO, OPU, DU). The Executive Team Leader champions physical and digital offerings, ensuring the team can inform and educate guests about Target's benefits and features, including the Target RedCard and Wallet. They also ensure the team stays updated on promotions and events, uses guest survey feedback for improvement, and leads an efficient guest pick-up experience. The role requires working a schedule that aligns with business needs, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends, and upholding a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance. As a key carrier, they must follow all safe and secure training and processes and address store needs during emergencies or regulatory visits. Other duties may be assigned based on business needs.
