Requirements

  • Strong problem solving, mediation, coaching, and consulting skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • High organizational skills and ability to complete several ongoing activities, projects, or assignments to meet deadlines
  • Ability to train, develop, and mentor team
  • Ability to manage the performance of others effectively

Responsibilities

  • Supervises all aspects of Team relations including, but not limited to, hiring, coaching, mediating, recognizing, and evaluating team
  • Trains and supervises stewarding team in the proper handling of equipment and chemicals, daily operation of all kitchen cleaning and dish washing
  • Ensures all areas of responsibility are organized and maintained according to sanitary guidelines
  • Maintains inventory, reports shortages, and requisitions replacement of equipment and supplies
  • Manages departmental financial operating expenses including, but not limited to, budget, P&L, labor costs, controllables, and cost of goods
  • Works with all departments to successfully execute company strategies to maximize operational efficiencies and improve both the Guest and Team Member experience
  • Maintains the morale of the department through open communication and teamwork by deploying targeted communication strategies that inform and build support
  • Performs all administrative duties as required to successfully manage the department
