About The Position

The Executive Sous Chef at Bear Creek Golf Club in Dallas, TX, is a key member of the Arcis Golf team. This role is responsible for directing culinary operations, ensuring compliance with national programs, managing and developing culinary staff, meeting financial targets, and maintaining high standards of guest satisfaction and kitchen sanitation. Requirements

Previous experience in a lead culinary role
High school diploma or equivalent required
Strong attention to detail, planning and organizational skills
Food service permit as required by local or state government agency
ServSafe certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree, culinary degree or certificate preferred
Experience supervising others and leading a team preferred
Good verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with the national programs such as Menu Program, Approved Product List and Inventory procedures.
Responsible for selection, development and retention of talented culinary staff.
Supervise employees in the daily operation of the kitchen to ensure quality and timeliness of product.
Ensure financial targets are being met and appropriate accounting procedures are being followed consistently.
Respond quickly to guest requests in a friendly manner.
Follow up to ensure guest satisfaction.
Ensure kitchen is clean and sanitary and is in compliance with all federal, state and local laws.
Work any position in the kitchen as needed.
Assist in creating menus, custom menus, features and more as needed.
Maintain constant communication between departments and keep other departments informed about special programs and events.
