About The Position

The Country Club at DC Ranch is seeking a Full-Time Executive Sous Chef to join their team. This position will assist and supervise daily kitchen operations across all outlets, with a primary focus on the Clubhouse kitchen. The Executive Sous Chef will be responsible for training the team and assisting/coaching all culinary staff to ensure food is prepared, executed, and presented according to Club standards. In the absence of the Executive Chef, the Executive Sous Chef will assume responsibility for the operation of all kitchen staff.

Requirements

  • Must have current AZ Food Handler’s Card
  • Minimum 5 years of sous experience in a luxury private club, resort, or high-end restaurant
  • Must be able to perform duties of all culinary positions - Grill, Sauté, Garde Manager, Pastry, and Basic Food Preparation

Nice To Haves

  • Culinary degree highly desired
  • 2+ years of experience in a leadership role is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Assist and supervise daily kitchen operations at all outlets, primarily overseeing the Clubhouse kitchen.
  • Train the culinary team.
  • Assist and coach all culinary staff in preparing, executing, and presenting food according to Club standards.
  • Assume charge of kitchen staff operations in the absence of the Executive Chef.
