About The Position

Flower Child, part of Fox Restaurant Concepts, is hiring an Executive Sous Chef. The role involves managing restaurant shifts and operations, supporting the team, and delivering memorable dining experiences in a high-volume restaurant. The successful candidate will help maintain product quality and restaurant cleanliness while contributing to continuous improvement. Compensation is $70,000–$75,000 per year, with a 10% bonus opportunity.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of high-volume restaurant management experience.
• Demonstrated understanding of business operations and financials.
• Understanding of the flavors, aromas, and characteristics of food ingredients.
• Ability to perform calmly and effectively in a high-volume environment.
• Ability to manage unexpected requests with ease and poise.
• Familiarity with POS systems and OpenTable or other digital/online reservation systems.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage shifts, including daily decision-making, scheduling, and planning.
• Create memorable dining experiences by exceeding guest expectations.
• Ensure product quality and restaurant cleanliness.
• Handle on-the-fly requests calmly and effectively in a high-volume environment.
• Coach, lead, and develop the restaurant team.
• Drive continuous improvement.
