About The Position

Charlotte Tilbury Beauty is seeking a driven and passionate Sales & Artistry Executive for the Pacific Northwest territory. This role is responsible for representing the brand through sales, education, and artistry across a large multi-retailer territory. The Executive will ensure effective and efficient operations of the Charlotte Tilbury account in department and specialty stores, acting as a brand ambassador and embodying the company's 5 P's: Professional, Proactive, Passionate, Prescriptive, and Potential. The primary goal is to achieve optimal financial results by maximizing sales and providing superior customer service. This includes overseeing daily counter operations, strategizing for future needs, and executing excellence in sales, brand engagement, merchandising, operations, training, retailer relationships, and employee development. The role requires exuding passion and enthusiasm to drive territory sales and strengthen brand awareness.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Beauty/Luxury industry experience
  • 3+ years of Beauty/Luxury retail management
  • Demonstrated ability in creating sales strategy and consistently achieving sales plans
  • Ability to travel 75%
  • Must be able to create winning partnerships with retailers
  • Demonstrated success in developing winning teams
  • Must possess strong strategic thinking and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work independently with integrity and efficiently in a productive environment
  • Intermediate skills in MS Office including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent communicator, both written and oral

Responsibilities

  • Drive financial results in store to meet and exceed plan, including Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as Average Unit Sales (AUS), Mix of Business (MOB), 0 + 12 Budget (Sales Plan), door ranking, and product ranking.
  • Determine individual and team sales targets and communicate them to direct reports, agreeing on sales objectives and ensuring their delivery.
  • Inspire and motivate non-CT payroll door teams to continue driving sales via the Tilbury Touch when the Sales & Artistry Executive is not present.
  • Analyze business performance and proactively suggest improvement opportunities through artistry, education, and operations.
  • Act as a specialist among retail artistry brands, demonstrating an entrepreneurial spirit within company guidelines.
  • Think creatively to ensure business growth year over year.
  • Consistently promote the Tilbury Touch to the team and customers.
  • Participate in regional meetings, team conference calls, and regular touch bases to share best practices and create solutions for business needs.
  • Lead by example to promote the Tilbury Touch and exceptional customer service, driving brand awareness in store.
  • Identify ways to improve Charlotte Tilbury service extended through retail employees via in-store support, training, and eventing.
  • Manage customer queries using sound judgment and achieving positive outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the Education and Artistry team to ensure continuous training and development for all accounts, meeting Charlotte Tilbury standards in service and artistry.
  • Extend exceptional customer service beyond the in-store experience, including makeup applications, promoting Charlottetilbury.com, and proactive clienteling using the customer database.
  • Improve and evolve personal artistry skills to lead by example.
  • Help provide an atmosphere that motivates and inspires MAGIC service, both internally and externally.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and ensure the team aligns with the CT dress code.
  • Proactively anticipate staffing needs, including sourcing and selecting talent to deliver business objectives.
  • Recruit and hire makeup artists and customer service professionals who embody the Charlotte Tilbury brand.
  • Facilitate high-impact trainings, including key in-store Retailer trainings.
  • Manage and lead Sales and Artistry Coordinators through ongoing coaching and development, overseeing their performance and retailer relationships.
  • Build a bench of candidates for growth through consistent development and investment.
  • Create a positive, cohesive, and cooperative team culture in store.
  • Create and maintain an atmosphere of open communication, professionalism, and creativity through team meetings, trainings, and a collaborative leadership style.
  • Recognize and celebrate great performance.
  • Implement door development plans and schedule support to address business growth needs, prioritizing the scheduling of Sales and Artistry Coordinators and Freelancers.
  • Manage the Freelance budget and ensure timely payroll processing.
  • Ensure the counter is customer-ready from open to close.
  • Maintain required inventory levels and accurate stock files, escalating inventory needs to optimize sales.
  • Schedule to optimize coverage according to customer flow and business needs.
  • Control store expenses within budget guidelines.
  • Ensure adherence to company cash loss prevention procedures and security policies.
  • Implement visual merchandising, new launch displays, and collateral placement as directed by the marketing team.
  • Maintain excellent counter hygiene standards.
  • Maintain technology on counter, including screens, iPads, and music.
  • Raise operational issues for timely resolution.
  • Ensure timely submission and accuracy of expenses, financial tracking of expenditures, and other company-owned asset forms.
  • Complete all administrative assignments by their due date.
  • Establish and develop a cooperative and mutually respectful relationship with the entire store team.
  • Maximize ROI by scheduling time in store during peak business hours, including weekends.
  • Build meaningful relationships through strong communication, reliability, and partnership.
  • Maintain store standards and policies at all times.
  • Proactively suggest win-win opportunities to drive sales within the store.
