About The Position

The EPO Team Leader leads daily operations, performance, scheduling, and readiness of EPOs responsible for safeguarding the executive floor and responding to life‑safety incidents. The role ensures operational excellence, manages vendor support, and remains deployable as an EPO. The Manager also cross‑trains with Executive Protection Agents (EPAs) to strengthen program depth and support future advancement. The EPO Team Leader will be responsible for directing daily activities, assignments, and coverage of EPOs, ensuring continuous protection and readiness for emergencies or threats. This role involves conducting shift briefings, operational updates, and enforcing standards, while overseeing access control, floor monitoring, and safeguarding procedures. The Team Leader must maintain 24/7 operational awareness, adjust staffing as needed, and build strong partnerships with Executive Assistants and Executive Leadership. Additionally, the role includes overseeing concierge operations on the executive floor, filling shifts during shortages or emergencies, and maintaining a prepared, visible presence. The Team Leader will respond to medical issues, threat indicators, and life‑safety events, executing emergency protocols and coordinating with internal responders. Support for vendor oversight, procurement, contract evaluation, budgeting, and reviewing vendor performance is also a key responsibility. The position requires participation in structured cross‑training with EPAs and supporting them during high-demand or high-risk scenarios to build program flexibility. The Team Leader will coordinate all EPO training with the Senior EPA and Director of EP, provide operational insights, risk observations, and improvement recommendations, and assist with updates to policies and procedures, while maintaining incident reports and data logs.
