About The Position

The Executive Protection Driver will serve in a dual-capacity role, providing both unarmed close protection services and secure transportation support for designated client(s) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The EP Driver will ensure the safety of principals across various environments, including stadiums, downtown areas, and other high-traffic locations, while coordinating and executing efficient ground movements. This role requires strong knowledge of local roadways, traffic patterns, and venue access points, along with a high level of situational awareness and professionalism. The EP Driver will communicate travel logistics, enforce safety protocols, respond to incidents as needed, and document daily activities, promptly reporting any delays, anomalies, or security concerns to leadership.

Requirements

  • US Citizen with a social security card
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • At least 21 years old
  • Valid US Passport
  • Able to read, write and speak English fluently and comprise detailed written and typed reports
  • Must have LEOSA or H.R. 218
  • Demonstrated experience operating vehicles in a professional capacity, preferably in a security or protective role
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Strong knowledge of local roadways, traffic patterns, and major venues (e.g., downtown areas, stadiums, airports)
  • Ability to maintain a high level of situational awareness and make sound decisions under pressure
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in dynamic, fast-paced environments
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing schedules, routes, and operational requirements
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in executive protection, security, law enforcement, military, or a related field preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide unarmed executive protection to assigned personnel in a variety of environments, including high-traffic public venues
  • Operate vehicles in a safe and defensive manner while transporting principals to and from designated locations
  • Plan and execute secure and efficient travel routes using knowledge of local roadways, traffic patterns, and alternate routes
  • Maintain constant situational awareness to identify potential risks and respond appropriately to incidents or emergencies
  • Coordinate ground transportation logistics, including pickups, drop-offs, and route adjustments as needed
  • Ensure principals and team members are informed of travel plans, safety protocols, and movement procedures
  • Conduct advance work as needed, including route reconnaissance and site familiarity for key locations
  • Communicate effectively with security leadership regarding schedules, changes, and emerging concerns
  • Document daily activities through end-of-day reports, including any delays, anomalies, or incidents
  • Immediately escalate security concerns, incidents, or disruptions to appropriate leadership channels
  • Maintain professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality at all times
  • Comply with all organizational policies, client requirements, and local regulations, including maintaining a clean driving record and valid defensive driving certification
