Executive Protection Agent (ARMED)
About The Position
Safehouse Security Solutions provides executive protection, event security, secure transportation, and estate management services for corporations, celebrities, and VIPs worldwide. The Armed Executive Protection Agent provides close protection and residential security team (RST) services for high-profile individuals, helping ensure their physical safety and maintain secure environments. The role involves planning and carrying out protective operations, conducting advance security preparations, and implementing client-specific security plans and protocols. Duties may include monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, deterring unauthorized access, responding to incidents, screening individuals and vehicles, monitoring surveillance systems, and driving or transporting clients. Agents must document activities and incidents, report safety or security concerns to supervisors, collaborate and communicate frequently with team members, and maintain discretion and integrity. Travel may be required, including domestic and international travel for occasional client needs.
Requirements
- Must have executive protection and estate experience.
- Valid California Guard Card.
- Valid California CCW permit.
- Valid California Exposed Firearm Permit.
- First Aid, CPR, and AED certification.
- Domestic and international touring experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong physical security skills, including patrolling, access control, and incident response.
- Experience in close protection and risk assessment in high-stakes environments.
- Skill in surveillance, situational awareness, attention to detail, and threat analysis.
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and coordination skills.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Physical fitness and ability to respond quickly and remain calm under pressure.
- Proficiency in detailed documentation and report writing.
- Availability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to interact professionally with clients, staff, and the public.
- Must agree to a background check and drug test.
Nice To Haves
- Armed EP/RST experience working with high-net-worth individuals.
- Tactical or protective driving experience; trailing experience is a plus.
- Risk assessment and/or advance work experience.
- Comfort handling paparazzi and media situations.
- Additional training in security or law enforcement.
- TCCC or TECC certification.
- Professional driving training.
- Law enforcement and/or military experience.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Responsibilities
