About The Position

The Executive Producer will determine the best news stories for the program, create the daily rundown, and collaborate with show hosts in program preparation and execution. This role involves identifying compelling news stories, developing story ideas, conducting research, and planning segments. The Executive Producer will delegate responsibilities to producers, associate producers, and booking producers, and supervise production staff. The position requires producing timely content under heavy deadline pressure, staying updated on domestic and international news, politics, and current events, and excelling in a highly competitive environment with exceptional editorial skills. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications or similar.
• 5+ years executive producing experience or overseeing newscast production.
• Strong writing and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and work under heavy deadline pressure.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to collect and analyze data accurately and consistently follow through.
• Team player with effective communication skills both written and verbal.
• Proactive and solutions focused.
