About The Position

The Executive Producer (Finishing) is responsible for overseeing all aspects of flame-focused post-production projects, including managing active accounts, supporting Flame artists and producers, and ensuring seamless execution in collaboration with internal teams. This role plays a key part in growing the business by cultivating strong relationships with clients, identifying new opportunities, and working closely with leadership, production, flame leads and sales to support strategic goals.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in an Executive Producer role, specifically for VFX and/or Finishing.
  • Prior experience and demonstrated success in bidding, client relation building, and business development.
  • Experience with staff recruitment, training, mentorship, and performance management.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to coach and motivate teams under pressure and within tight deadlines.
  • Ability to problem solve complex VFX heavy projects through mentorship and collaboration.
  • Collaborate on sales strategies and confident in committing to revenue growth and sales targets.
  • Exceptional client and talent management skills, with a focus on relationship building and retention.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and with senior leadership.
  • Ability to inspire trust, foster collaboration, and drive consensus in a multi-disciplinary team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Driving and maintaining revenue for the company and the Finishing team through strategic client relationships and proactive sales efforts.
  • Actively pursuing leads and new business opportunities to expand the Finishing client base.
  • Overseeing Finishing reels and other sales collateral in collaboration with leadership and marketing teams.
  • Spearheading the bidding, scheduling, and planning for all Finishing projects (act as the primary contact for clients during the bid process).
  • Managing project budgets from start to finish, including identifying and communicating overages as needed.
  • Mentoring and supporting the production team, fostering professional development and collaboration.
  • Partnering with Leadership and Marketing to identify and execute PR and promotional opportunities.
  • Overseeing artist (Flame) management, including workload balance, scheduling, and development.
  • Serving as a liaison between Production and Sales, ensuring alignment on workflow, capacity, and opportunities.
  • Acting as a brand and cultural ambassador for the studio, representing the Finishing team internally and externally.
  • Collaborating with Accounting to ensure timely and accurate billing in line with client expectations and project delivery.
  • Monitoring industry trends, client output, and competitor activity to inform strategy and positioning.
  • Owning and tracking the growth of Finishing team billings, including schedule optimization and revenue targets.
  • Maintaining close contact with other studios.
  • Managing time during sessions, ensuring alignment with booked schedules and maximizing efficiency for clients and Colorists.
  • Coordinating sharing of viewing links during sessions and facilitating client engagement (e.g., DP, director involvement).
  • Overseeing project prep, render workflows, and handoff processes to ensure completion and delivery.
  • Maintaining and updating client databases, historical job records, bids, and invoicing documentation.
  • Conducting quality control checks on review links and final project deliveries.
  • Following up on delivery of final masters, ensuring client satisfaction and completion.
