About The Position

Requirements

  • 15+ years’ experience with a primary focus in an executive program and portfolio, strategic portfolio management, Business of IT, or Office of the CIO leader role within a Fortune 500 company.
  • Experience in executive level roles within consulting, sales or customer facing positions.
  • Modern technical skills and subject matter expertise such as; A deep understanding of the PMOs role in Product Management (Establishment, maturation, funding).
  • Experience with agile methods and tools; specifically in-depth understanding of how to govern Agile initiatives and be able to articulate and guide clients.
  • Experience with Large Program Governance.
  • Experience with Organization change management around running a successful PMO or EPMO.
  • Understanding of the PMO role in Digital Business initiatives and how the PMO engages with secondary contact areas such as Finance, Regulatory/Compliance and Procurement.
  • Experience managing hybrid portfolios composed of products and projects.
  • Experience influencing Digital Investment decisions within the C-level or board, supported by data.
  • Deep technical understanding of Application Rationalization.
  • Deep technical understanding of Cloud Migration (SaaS, IaaS) and its impact to the overall portfolio management needs of the organization.
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of 25-30 clients, typically Enterprise Program, Portfolio and Transformation leaders reporting to C-level executives, from global Fortune 1000 organizations and government agencies.
  • Deliver value through regular briefings, a mix of on-site and virtual workshops, roundtables, webinars and by attending relevant Gartner events.
  • Use knowledge and expertise, along with additional Gartner resources and research, to coach and mentor clients on critical initiatives and challenges specifically within the EPMO and Digital Programs space.
  • Work closely with several internal Gartner teams to ensure value is delivered, including Sales teams, Analysts, Client Managers, and peers across other EITL domains.
  • Act as a client-facing representative requiring a high level of executive presence and ability to build trust and deliver value.
  • Be responsible for member retention and contributing toward growth in the region through direct support of Gartner Sales in prospect cultivation, account plan development and value demonstration activities.
  • Operate as an individual contributor managing your own desk and other administrative tasks, delivering value to your client portfolio in a virtual manner.
