About The Position

The Office of Student Success (OSS) Executive Operations Coordinator provides executive-level administrative, confidential, fiscal, budgetary, analytical, compliance, and operational support for the Office of Student Success (OSS). Situated within Academic Affairs, OSS houses University Advising, OWL, and NIFS and works across campus to support academic student success, equity, retention, timely degree completion, and coordinated student support.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to provide meticulous follow-through on all assignments, paying high attention to accuracy and detail while working effectively in a high-profile, dynamic, and fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions, heavy workload, and multiple levels of activity and priorities.
  • Thorough knowledge of, or ability to quickly learn, Academic Affairs operations, university infrastructure, policies, procedures, administrative systems, and campus business processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently develop and implement administrative research assignments, including collection, organization, analysis, interpretation, and presentation of fiscal, operational, personnel, and program information.
  • Demonstrated consultative and customer service skills requiring an extremely high level of diplomacy, professionalism, tact, discretion, and responsiveness.
  • Equivalent to graduation from a four-year college or university and three (3) years of progressively responsible administrative, technical, fiscal, budgetary, or executive support experience.
  • Progressively responsible experience providing administrative coordination, budget tracking, fiscal analysis, confidential records support, project coordination, calendar management, correspondence, meeting support, or operational support in a complex office environment.

  • A graduate degree may be substituted for one year of the required experience.
  • Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

  • Provides executive-level administrative, confidential, fiscal, budgetary, analytical, compliance, and operational support for the Office of Student Success (OSS).
  • Supports academic student success, equity, retention, timely degree completion, and coordinated student support across campus.
  • Leads the university's academic student success strategy through oversight of student success units.
  • Coordinates strategic planning and implementation.
  • Collaborates with campus partners.
  • Proactively tracks and uses student success data.
  • Develops resources to sustain innovative, equitable, and scalable efforts that advance student persistence, timely degree completion, and success beyond graduation.
  • Supports a coordinated student success infrastructure that connects advising, learning support, writing support, fellowships and scholarships, and strategic support for student-centered programs in service of belonging, academic success, and economic transformation.
