About The Position

As the Executive Meeting Manager, you will be responsible for proposing, prospecting, contracting, and detailing smaller corporate groups. You will provide the highest levels of customer service to internal partners and external clients, responding in a quick, timely, and professional manner. This role requires excellent time management, self-motivation, proactive planning, and a keen focus on detail. You will manage all aspects of pre-event, event, and post-event details, including room blocks, meeting space, special concessions, and billing. You will also work with internal and external partners to forecast group revenues and gain knowledge of the hotel's offerings. Consistently attaining sales activity and revenue goals is crucial, as is learning and utilizing digital sales systems and understanding the hotel's sales strategies. Participation in internal meetings and a collaborative, entrepreneurial spirit are expected. You will also own your career development and carry out reasonable requests from management.

  • Willing and able to attend customer functions as needed.
  • Work with internal and external partners to accurately forecast group rooms and F & B revenues.
  • Understand conditions and strategies that will maximize released space and rooms and impact hotel revenues.
  • Gain knowledge of hotel’s food and beverage products, pricing, and presentation.
  • Learn about the hotel’s function space, audio visual, and any other details related to event success.
  • Consistently attain sales activity goals and individual revenue goals.
  • Learn and use digital sales systems and conceptual sales processes (i.e. Delphi, CI/TY, PMS, sales call process, etc.).
  • Understand the hotel’s sales strategies (i.e. Marketing Plan, rates, budgeted goals, etc.).
  • Implement tools and resources to accomplish individual and team goals and efficiently complete job duties.
  • Prepared for and participate in all necessary internal meetings, conference calls, reporting, planning, training, and other communications.
  • Work in a unified and collaborative way that fosters teamwork.
  • Embody an entrepreneurial spirit that enables one to make the best possible decisions for hotel and achieve the team’s overall goals.
  • Own career development and be an advocate for training and job opportunities.
  • Carry out any reasonable requests made by Management.

Responsibilities

  • Provide the highest levels of customer service to internal partners and external clients.

  • Demonstrate excellent time management, self-motivation, proactive planning, and organizational savvy with a keen focus on detail.
  • Maintain existing assigned accounts/segments and develop new business for the hotel.
  • Monitor and manage all aspects of pre-event, event, and post-event details, including room blocks, meeting space, special concessions, group history, cut-off dates, contract clauses, group resumes, event orders, BEOs, and billing details.
  • Attend customer functions as needed.
  • Accurately forecast group rooms and F&B revenues with internal and external partners, and understand strategies to maximize released space and rooms to impact hotel revenues.
  • Gain knowledge of hotel's food and beverage products, pricing, and presentation, as well as function space, audio visual, and other event-related details.
  • Consistently attain sales activity goals and individual revenue goals, including proactive and reactive calls, tours, and appointments.
  • Learn and use digital sales systems and conceptual sales processes (e.g., Delphi, CI/TY, PMS, sales call process).
  • Understand the hotel’s sales strategies (e.g., Marketing Plan, rates, budgeted goals) and implement tools and resources to accomplish goals.
  • Participate in all necessary internal meetings, conference calls, reporting, planning, training, and other communications.
