About The Position

The Executive Meeting Manager will be responsible for managing corporate meetings with 15 or fewer guestrooms. This role serves as the primary liaison for clients, ensuring seamless communication and execution of detailed event plans, timelines, and Banquet Event Orders (BEOs). The manager will oversee on-site execution to ensure all event components meet or exceed expectations, build and maintain strong client relationships to drive repeat and referral business, and act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering creative solutions and enhancements. The position also involves handling VIP clients and sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution of concerns. Revenue generation is a key aspect, achieved through strategic upselling of food & beverage, audiovisual, and event enhancements. The role requires reviewing contracts, billing, and final invoices for accuracy and completeness, and supporting forecasting, pace reporting, and revenue strategy initiatives. Operational collaboration with Sales, Banquets, Culinary, Front Office, and Engineering teams is crucial for flawless execution. This includes leading internal event meetings (BEO, resume, operations) and communicating all details clearly, while ensuring compliance with brand standards, safety regulations, and hotel policies. The Executive Meeting Manager will deliver elevated, personalized service reflective of DoubleTree’s reputation for warm hospitality, ensuring all events create memorable, high-quality guest experiences, and proactively anticipating needs and resolving issues with urgency and professionalism.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of progressive experience in event management or catering, preferably in a full-service property.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of hotel/event systems (e.g., Delphi, OnQ, or similar) or willingness to learn
  • Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field preferred, but not required
