About The Position
Executive housekeeping is responsible for managing room lists, stripping rooms for housekeepers to go in and clean and prepare for next guest, other job duties including but not limited to cleaning and servicing assigned rooms or areas according to established standards and procedures including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, removing trash, etc.
Requirements
- Customer service skills
- Previous cleaning experience in a hospitality setting
Responsibilities
- Communicating with other staff members to coordinate work schedules and projects
- Inspecting rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to identify any issues that need to be addressed immediately
- Maintaining inventory of all cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure that supplies are restocked as needed
- Making sure that all areas of the facility are clean and organized
- Overseeing daily staff roster for rooms needing cleaning
- Ensuring guest’s property and valuables are stored and kept safe
- Overseeing housekeeping staff and schedule working shifts accordingly
- Developing and maintaining positive working relationships with others
- Contributing to the inventory of laundry and cleaning supplies
- Handling all stages of the laundry operation, including collecting, transporting, sorting, loading, unloading, folding and storing or delivering linens
- Stocking laundry supplies
