About The Position
This position is a flexible, part-time position that works a minimum of 32 hours each month. Staff self-schedule hours that work with their schedule. 16 hours must be over the course of a weekend or weekends. The pay rate is $19.52/hour, which includes a base rate of $16.52/hour plus a $3.00/hour differential for all hours worked, in addition to shift differentials.
Requirements
- No specific education, training, or experience is required for entry to this class.
Responsibilities
- Knowledge of safety precautions followed in building maintenance operations
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning practices, equipment, supplies and techniques
- Skill in the use of building maintenance equipment
- Basic office and computer skills including competency in the use of email and building system applications
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to understand and follow instructions
- Ability to read and comprehend equipment manuals
- Ability to utilize and maintain hand tools and building equipment safely
- Ability to operate industrial-type cleaning equipment
