Executive Functioning Coach - Contract/1099

Blackbird Health
$30 - $35Remote

About The Position

Blackbird Health is clinician-founded, owned, and operated by dedicated professionals. We believe that providing the best care for children starts with building the best possible team. We deliver virtual and in-person mental health services across Pennsylvania, Virginia, New Jersey & Maryland—and we’re growing into new markets in 2027. At Blackbird, we take a whole-child approach, looking at how the brain, body, and behavior interact to address the root causes of challenges, not just the symptoms. Every role matters here, and you’ll join a collaborative, supportive, and innovative team that’s shaping the future of pediatric mental health care. If you’re passionate about helping children and families while growing your career, Blackbird is the place to make an impact. Join us and help change mental health care for children for the better! As an Executive Functioning Coach, you will provide evidence-based coaching to children, adolescents, and young adults facing daily challenges with executive functioning and task management. You will help clients build practical strategies to improve organization, planning, time management, task initiation, and independence across home, school, and community settings. Partnering closely with our interdisciplinary care team, you will implement individualized, skills-based plans that drive lasting functional outcomes. We welcome candidates from backgrounds in Special Education, Reading/Learning Support, School Psychology, Counseling, Occupational Therapy, or Speech-Language Pathology to help clients build practical strategies for home, school, and community settings. This is a fully remote opportunity.

  • Comfortable navigating EMR platforms and managing patient records in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
  • Associate’s degree or higher in Special Education, Education, OT/COTA, SLP/SLPA, Counseling, Psychology, or a related human services field (equivalent practical experience considered).
