About The Position

Conduct the analysis and reporting of all operational metrics, including corporate backlog, pipeline, revenue, profitability, and other labor-driven measures for executive VP through C-Suite clients. Develop charts, graphs, and key takeaways on a recurring basis to identify opportunities and risks and influence strategic business decisions. Own, update, and design new reports, metrics, and analysis techniques to improve directional insights of the company’s future financial performance. Provide externally reported metrics such as total backlog or pipeline value in support of investor relations and external financial reporting functions. Respond to ad-hoc reporting requests from Corporate Finance stakeholders as it relates to the relative health, size, composition, and directional expectations of the company’s backlog, funding, and pipeline.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a finance field
  • 3+ years of experience reporting financial metrics at a market or business unit level
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with government services contracting
  • Knowledge of the federal contract types and contracts lifecycle
  • Knowledge of data visualization
  • Ability to apply creativity in performing financial analysis and bring value to the improvement of financial performance
  • Bachelor’s degree

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using Tableau or other data visualization tools
  • Knowledge of government services rate structures, including direct costs, indirect costs, and fees
  • Possession of excellent critical thinking skills
  • Master’s degree
