About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Executive Director to oversee the daily operations of our vibrant senior living community. This is an opportunity to lead a dedicated team, foster a culture of excellence, and positively impact the lives of our residents every day. The Executive Director is responsible for the overall leadership, management, and operation of the senior living community. This position ensures high-quality resident care and services, regulatory compliance, financial performance, employee engagement, and resident/family satisfaction. The Executive Director serves as the primary leader of the community and promotes a culture of excellence, compassion, and accountability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration or a related field highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of leadership experience in senior living, assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, or healthcare operations.
  • Demonstrated success in financial management and budget oversight.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, staff, and external stakeholders.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.

Responsibilities

  • Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for the community.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Maintain a safe, resident-centered environment that promotes quality of life.
  • Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, revenue growth, expense management, and occupancy goals.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain qualified staff.
  • Foster positive relationships with residents, families, healthcare providers, and community partners.
  • Monitor and improve resident satisfaction and service quality.
  • Lead department managers to achieve operational and organizational goals.
  • Ensure preparedness for regulatory surveys and/or inspections.
  • Represent the community in professional and community organizations.
