The Executive Director will be responsible for organizing and directing the agency's ongoing functions, including operational and organizational planning, budgeting, and monitoring progress toward operational and strategic goals. This role ensures that interdisciplinary care is provided while maintaining ethical business and clinical practices. The Executive Director will direct staff in performing duties related to patient care, employ qualified personnel, and ensure adequate staff education and evaluation. They will also maintain knowledge of community service systems, ensure services are approved by hospice, and manage the agency's compliance with federal and state laws, Medicare regulations, and personnel policies. Additionally, the role involves managing conflict resolution, implementing effective budgeting and accounting systems, and evaluating program, services, and personnel performance. The Executive Director must also ensure overall compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
