The Executive Director is responsible for all areas of operation, creating a culture of caring and accountability. Resident, family, and team members' satisfaction is key. The Administrator is responsible for assuring compliance with government regulations and Compass Senior Living policies and procedures. Elder's family and team members' satisfaction is key to maintaining extraordinary standards of service and quality. Annual salary starting at $110,000/year.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in a related field.
  • License in good standing (if required by the State Licensing Authority) or willingness to secure licensure within six months of employment.
  • Computer literacy, savvy in social media, and proficiency in learning specified online programs.
  • Experience with financial reporting, record keeping, and managing multiple budgets.
  • Good verbal communication and the ability to read, write, and speak English with residents and coworkers who only speak English.
  • Ability to perform all duties and responsibilities (Essential Job Functions) with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

  • Hiring, training, supervising, and supporting the work of all team members.
  • Planning all aspects of the Community in collaboration with the Leadership Team and Compass Senior Living.
  • Conducting routine inspections of services to ensure compliance and maintain current knowledge of state regulations.
  • Managing staffing and retention, ensuring incentive programs are in place, and maintaining high team spirit and a culture of collaboration.
  • Managing budgets, labor costs, food costs, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll in collaboration with home office team members.
  • Ensuring optimum occupancy, revenue, and profitability in collaboration with the sales and marketing team.
  • Developing positive relationships and partnerships with professional organizations, State regulators, the community, families, elders, and team members.
