The Executive Director will be responsible for organizing and directing the agency's ongoing functions, including operational and organizational planning, budgeting, and monitoring progress toward operational and strategic goals. This role ensures interdisciplinary care is provided while maintaining ethical business and clinical practices. The Executive Director will direct staff in performance of duties, employ qualified personnel, and ensure adequate staff education and evaluation. They will also maintain knowledge of community service systems, ensure services provided are approved by the hospice, and manage the agency's compliance with federal and state laws, Medicare regulations, and established personnel policies. Conflict and complaint resolution, implementation of effective budgeting and accounting systems, and evaluation of programs, services, and personnel are also key responsibilities. The role requires ensuring overall compliance with local, state, and federal laws, Medicare regulations, and established personnel policies and procedures.
