About The Position

We are looking for someone to be a Visionary, communicating with the team where the community is going and what its goals are, including business plans and sales plans. This role is also a "Management Mechanic," responsible for keeping the community running smoothly from residents to employees. Additionally, the position requires being a "Resident Receptor" by anticipating and managing resident satisfaction needs, and acting as an "Entrepreneurial Steward" by running the community like your own mini-business.

Requirements

  • At least twenty-one (21) years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A two (2) year degree in human services, psychology, sociology, nursing, health care administration, public administration, or a related field and at least two (2) years of experience in the field; OR a four (4) year degree in a related field and a minimum of one (1) year experience in the field; OR a master’s degree in a related field and a minimum of one (1) year experience in the field.
  • Knowledge of the requirements for providing care and supervision appropriate to the residents.
  • Knowledge of and ability to conform to the applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
  • Ability to maintain or supervise the maintenance of financial and other records.
  • Ability to direct the work of others and provide the necessary leadership for measurable growth and satisfaction in performing the work.
  • Good character and a reputation of personal integrity.
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
  • Positive and energetic attitude.
  • Computer skills to be able to print documents and enter information in systems.
  • Comfortable standing, walking, bending, kneeling, for brief periods of time.
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 25 pounds.
  • Comfortable sitting at a desk between six and eight hours a day.
  • Must be criminally cleared.
  • Must have a clean driving record as per the insurance carrier’s policy.
