Position Summary The Executive Director at Marion Assisted Living is responsible for the overall leadership, management, and success of the community. The Executive Director oversees daily operations, regulatory compliance, financial performance, employee engagement, resident satisfaction, and strategic growth. This leadership role requires someone who is passionate about senior care, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to building a positive culture where residents receive exceptional care and employees are empowered to succeed.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as an Executive Director, Administrator, or senior leader in Assisted Living, Long-Term Care, Skilled Nursing, or Senior Living.
  • Current Adult Care Home Administrator License (or ability to obtain if required by state regulations).
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance, and survey readiness.
  • Experience managing budgets, financial performance, and occupancy initiatives.
  • Outstanding organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Passion for serving seniors and creating a positive resident experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Long-Term Care Administration, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction for all community operations.
  • Ensure exceptional resident care while maintaining the highest quality standards.
  • Foster a culture built on compassion, accountability, teamwork, and excellence.
  • Recruit, hire, develop, coach, and retain outstanding team members.
  • Lead department managers and provide ongoing mentorship and support.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local, and company regulations.
  • Develop and manage the community budget while achieving financial goals.
  • Monitor occupancy, census, and operational performance to support continued growth.
  • Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, referral sources, and community partners.
  • Promote employee engagement, recognition, and professional development.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous quality improvement and operational excellence.
  • Serve as the primary ambassador for Marion Assisted Living within the local community.
