About The Position

Assisted Living Director is a leadership role at Legacy House of Southern Hills, a premier assisted living community managed by Western States Lodging & Management. This position serves as the second-in-command to the Executive Director, overseeing all Assisted Living operations. The role involves influencing community operations, leading a dedicated care team, and contributing to the overall success of the community. The position is part of the community's leadership team, partnering with the Executive Director to drive resident satisfaction, operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and team engagement. The Assisted Living Director acts as a trusted leadership partner, helping execute the community's vision, mentoring department leaders, solving operational challenges, and ensuring exceptional care is delivered daily. Requirements

  • Experienced senior living leader with a proven ability to inspire teams and achieve outstanding results
  • Leadership experience in Assisted Living, Memory Care, or Senior Living
  • Demonstrated success leading, coaching, and developing healthcare teams
  • Strong knowledge of resident assessments, care planning, and state regulatory requirements
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Passion for serving older adults while promoting independence and dignity

Nice To Haves

  • Nevada Medication Technician certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Executive Director's primary leadership partner for Assisted Living operations
  • Lead, mentor, and develop Caregivers and Medication Technicians
  • Recruit, onboard, coach, and retain exceptional team members
  • Ensure resident assessments, service plans, and care documentation meet quality and regulatory standards
  • Promote resident safety, dignity, and exceptional quality of care
  • Build trusted relationships with residents, families, physicians, and healthcare providers
  • Monitor staffing, scheduling, department performance, and operational outcomes
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Assist the Executive Director with community leadership initiatives and operational priorities
  • Help drive occupancy through exceptional resident and family satisfaction
