About The Position

Legacy of Farmington Senior Living, a Lifespark Senior Living Community, is seeking an Executive Director to join their growing team. This beautiful 70-unit community in Farmington, MN, provides Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care services. The Executive Director will become part of the family and impact the lives of residents, helping them to 'Age Magnificently'. The community boasts a caring, hardworking, and passionate team dedicated to resident well-being.

Requirements

  • Licensed as Assisted Living Director in the state of operation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration, Gerontology, Business, or related field.
  • Experience in marketing, sales, and/or advertising.
  • Passion and experience in working with memory care.
  • Minimum of two years management or supervisory experience in long-term care or acute care.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and direct the overall operations of the facility in accordance with customer needs, government regulations, and company policy and procedure, with the focus of maintaining excellent care for the residents/tenants while achieving the facility’s business objectives.
  • Monitor each department’s activities, communicate policies, evaluate performance, provide feedback, assist, and observe, coach, and discipline as needed.
  • Develop an environment that allows for creative thinking, problem solving, and empowerment in the development of the facility management team.
  • Oversee and conduct regular rounds to monitor delivery of nursing care, operation of support departments, cleanliness and appearance of the facility, morale of the staff, and ensures resident needs are being addressed.
  • Monitor Human Resources to ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and to ensure practices that maintain high morale and staff retention including effective communication, prompt problem resolution, and promoting a proactive work environment.
  • Develop positive relationships on behalf of the Company with government regulators, residents, families, area healthcare providers, physicians, and the community at large.
  • Manage facility budgets and business practices to include labor costs, payables, and receivables.
  • Ensure a marketing strategy for the facility is developed and implemented that reflects service opportunities, completion, potential market area changes, and maximizes census, payer mix, and ancillary revenues.
