SUNY Schenectady County Community College seeks applicants for the position of Executive Director, Sponsored Programs. The position will report directly to the College President and be required to provide leadership and oversight for the College's portfolio of grants and sponsored projects, including researching funding opportunities and pursuing and writing competitive proposals for government agencies, foundations, and other sponsors. The Executive Director oversees grant implementation, budgets, performance, reporting, evaluation, and regulatory compliance; provides technical assistance and training on grant requirements and develops standardized processes to support effective grants management and successful project outcomes. The Executive Director is responsible for the supervision, direction, and evaluation of grants and sponsored programs staff as assigned. Responsibilities may include hiring, onboarding, training, goal setting, performance management, and professional development of staff supporting grant development, grant administration, sponsored programs, workforce development, community education, and related externally funded initiatives. The Executive Director provides leadership through project coordination, collaboration, and consultation with internal and external stakeholders and may oversee additional positions as the College's grants and sponsored programs function expands.
