Requirements

  • 10+ years of relevant experience.

  • Ability to travel regionally and globally, up to 35%.
  • Basic accounting skills
  • Operation of financial models

  • Strong communications skills (oral and written)
  • Operation of money markets and capital markets
  • Understanding of credit application process
  • Negotiation and structuring skills.

Responsibilities

  • Developing, maintaining, and growing a strong client base to support an expanding financing business, while maintaining a visible and positive market presence for Rabobank.
  • Identifying business opportunities and converting them into profitable transactions through expert structuring, efficient documentation, and closing.
  • Managing transactions through the internal credit process by consulting, analyzing, structuring, and communicating with credit, regional, and business line managers.
  • Managing deal teams, which includes mentoring, training, and supervising middle-level and junior transactors. This may involve functional/workflow management of Associate and Analyst-level team members.
  • Assisting in the maintenance and monitoring of a loan portfolio, including expansions, refinancings, restructurings, and exits, based on risk analysis.
  • Cross-selling existing Rabobank products, such as derivatives, and identifying new products for adaptation and cross-selling.
  • Developing new products and techniques within Project Finance.
  • Supporting the staffing of junior employees on transaction deal teams, involving continuous communication regarding deal activity intensity, workload, and travel schedules.
  • Playing a key role, with support from other PF team members, in recruiting and hiring junior employees, including participation in outreach, interviews, and evaluations.
