About The Position

This leader will provide strategic, operational, and clinical leadership for hospital-based outpatient departments (HOPD) across the system. Responsible for leading initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, standardize care delivery, and improve patient outcomes in a complex, evolving healthcare environment. Develops and executes a clear vision for organizational transformation aligned with IU Health’s mission, strategic priorities, and regulatory requirements.  Partners closely with hospital and medical group leadership to drive high-reliability, standardized clinical operations across all outpatient care settings. Collaborates with senior leaders, department heads, and key stakeholders to assess organizational needs, identify opportunities for process improvement, and implement sustainable change management strategies. Establishes system-wide policy and operational direction and is accountable for results within defined scope, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree is required. Master's Degree is preferred.
  • Requires 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Requires 10+ years of relevant experience in leading, managing, and delivering key initiatives across large, complex organizations.
  • Requires 7+ years of management experience.
  • Change Management experience is required.
  • Requires extensive experience working in a complex, matrixed organization.
  • Requires an In-depth knowledge of industry trends and best practices related to transformation.
