Requirements

  • 8+ years of retail sales experience at the headquarters level
  • Proven success leading high-performing sales teams and delivering profitable growth
  • Deep knowledge of the retail meat industry (Fresh, Packaged, Deli, Frozen, Prepared Foods)
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
  • Experience leveraging syndicated and shipment data
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of Regional Sales Managers and broker partners to deliver profitable growth
  • Own strategic relationships with major retail accounts including Meijer, Publix, Albertsons, Kroger, and HEB
  • Develop and execute sales strategies for Value Added Pork products across multiple regions
  • Coach teams on securing large-scale Private Brand/Own Brand opportunities
  • Oversee sales planning, proposals, and presentations to drive new business
  • Analyze performance metrics, optimize trade spend, and contribute to annual budgeting
  • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers and stay ahead of market trends
