About The Position

The Executive Director of Grants and External Funding is responsible for obtaining grant funding to develop new services, and/or improve the quality or efficiency of Spectrum’s service delivery models. This role also involves coordinating the implementation of all grant-funded projects, ensuring post-award compliance, and compiling financial and non-financial data for grant-related reports and billings in conjunction with the Accounting Department. The position also includes responding to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) as opportunities arise.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree
Four years of relevant experience, including documented success with federal grant submissions and RFP responses
Ability to interpret regulations, policies and procedures regarding grants submission and administration
Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
Ability to manage competing deadlines while producing the highest quality work
Strong interpersonal and partnership-building skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Working knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, Access, Publisher & PowerPoint

Responsibilities
