About The Position

Kardigan is a heart health company dedicated to making cardiovascular disease preventable, curable, and no longer the leading cause of death globally. Our mission is to develop multiple targeted treatments to provide cures for people with cardiovascular diseases. The company's co-founders, Tassos Gianakakos, Jay Edelberg, M.D., Ph.D., and Bob McDowell, Ph.D., previously led MyoKardia to discover and develop mavacamten, the first cardiac myosin inhibitor, which led to an acquisition by Bristol Myers Squibb in 2020. Kardigan boasts a cutting-edge discovery and translational research platform, a pipeline of late-stage candidates, and an industry-leading team committed to improving patient lives. Our values, driven by patients and their families, emphasize authenticity, a strong eagerness to learn, teamwork, and a commitment to enabling the impossible through innovation and scientific discovery.
