About The Position

Texas Capital Bank is seeking an Executive Director (ED) for Investment Banking specializing in the Aerospace & Defense (A&D) sector. This role involves originating, structuring, and executing transactions for clients, contributing significantly to revenue growth and client relationship management within the firm's investment banking group. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in investment banking, with a significant focus on the Aerospace & Defense sector.
  • Extensive network of relationships with senior executives and financial sponsors in the A&D industry.
  • Exceptional financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience managing and mentoring junior banking professionals.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with demanding deadlines.
  • FINRA Series 79 and Series 63 licenses are required.
  • Series 24 preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and cultivate new and existing client relationships within the Aerospace & Defense industry.
  • Conduct in-depth industry research, market analysis, and financial modeling to support client engagements and transaction execution.
  • Develop compelling client presentations, pitch books, and confidential information memoranda.
  • Manage deal teams, including analysts and associates, providing guidance, training, and mentorship.
  • Negotiate transaction terms and conditions with clients, counterparties, and legal counsel.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies throughout the transaction lifecycle.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal product groups, credit teams, and other stakeholders to deliver comprehensive client solutions.
  • Represent Texas Capital Bank at industry conferences, events, and client meetings to enhance market presence and thought leadership.
