The Executive Director, Global Marketing Lead (GML) for UPLIZNA, is a critical commercial leadership role within Amgen’s Global Marketing organization, responsible for shaping and executing the global commercial strategy across the product lifecycle. As the global brand steward, the GML provides a unified “ONE Commercial Voice” across indications, markets, and functions to maximize asset value and enable consistent, disciplined execution worldwide. Operating within Amgen’s Global-with-Local model, the GML translates enterprise product strategy into clear global commercial direction, integrating global strategy with local insights to advance global expansion efforts and patient impact. The GML leads a highly matrixed organization across UPLIZNA’s three approved indications, ensuring cohesive brand strategy with appropriate differentiation by indication and will be responsible for future lifecycle strategies. The GML partners closely with the Global Product Team Lead (GPTL) to ensure tight alignment between product strategy, governance decisions, and commercial execution, while retaining clear ownership of global brand and market strategy.
