About The Position

Breyanzi is the #1 prescribed CD19 CAR T worldwide with the broadest label against numerous B cell malignancies and has transformed the lives of thousands of lymphoma patients. This position is a fantastic opportunity to play an impactful role in growing this incredible brand in BMS’s worldwide markets and giving hope to lymphoma patients. The Global Commercial Executive Director partners with the Global Commercial CAR T Lead in ensuring successful strategy development and operational execution to drive performance throughout Breyanzi’s lifecycle. This role will be a critical interface and point of contact for cross-functional teams and local market teams to develop recommendations and drive decisions on asset strategy and life cycle management, accelerating global performance and partnering with markets to drive execution.

Requirements

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in biopharma
  • Bachelor’s degree required; life-sciences-related discipline (or other scientific education) preferred
  • Relevant experience in Hematology / Cell Therapy / Lymphoma is preferable
  • Launch experience and/or experience of managing brand lifecycle with proven track record of driving performance and executional excellence
  • Delivering clarity of strategic direction and demonstrated ability to translate insights into effective strategy ; experience in developing strategic brand plans preferred.
  • Global experience a plus.
  • Ability to operate and prioritize effectively in a dynamic, ambiguous environment
  • Experience working with customers and translating customer needs to the cross-functional development team is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of biopharmaceutical industry; possesses a global understanding of end-to-end drug development and commercialization processes
  • Abreast of scientific issues and market trends as they impact business development and strategic planning
  • Ability to work with cross-functional, matrixed teams, maintaining strong relationships and influencing outcomes
  • Ability to manage multiple demands and priorities on time, lead teams, gain alignment and drive decision making
  • Ability to conduct thorough analyses to support key asset cross-functional decisions
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Results driven, with excellent organizational, analytical, and planning skills
  • Effectively utilizes information technology systems and program management tools including systems (e.g., MS project, Excel)

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for setting and hitting ambitious revenue and patient targets for Breyanzi globally (ex US)
  • Owner of decision rights for the brand across performance, strategy and financially related topics
  • Responsible for ensuring consistent view of performance (KPIs) which is aligned through local market – regional leadership – WW leadership, and identifying opportunities for performance acceleration / course-correction across markets in support of achieving aph and revenue targets
  • Partner with Global Commercial Lead to develop Breyanzi expansion strategy – including footprint (geographic expansion), LCM expansion and incremental brand share and class share in existing markets
  • Accountable for development and execution of one holistic lymphoma strategy for Breyanzi, which maximizes the brand’s breadth of indications, in partnership with key cross functional stakeholders including Early Assets & Commercial Strategy, WW hematology commercial, Medical (across CT and heme), Competitive Intelligence and others as needed
  • Responsible for facilitating major go/no-go decisions and other governance decisions at key forums (CTLT), in partnership with the Global Commercial Lead
  • Owns content and presentation for Monthly and Quarterly business reviews for Breyanzi
  • Core member of Breyanzi GPT and Go-CT lead
