We are currently hiring for an Executive Director of Commercial Banking, located in our downtown Salt Lake City, UT location. Responsible for leading and managing the commercial banking division, focusing on developing strategic initiatives to drive growth and profitability. Oversees a team of banking professionals, fostering relationships with clients, and ensures the delivery of exceptional banking services. Manages, solicits and develops corporate banking throughout the state. Monitors portfolio risk. Generates deposits and fee income. Approves and makes recommendations for the approval of loans. Establishes and monitors performance objectives for the state. Negotiates highly complex loans and resolves more complicated credit issues. Other duties as required.

Requirements

  • Requires a high school degree with a Bachelors degree preferred and 12+ years of experience in lending, credit or banking and management experience or other directly related experience. A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.
  • Requires an extensive in-depth knowledge of commercial banking services or related fields and the ability to apply that information to the current role.
  • Ability to create, authorize changes, develop and revise policies, procedures.
  • Consistently utilizes in-depth knowledge of specific function to guide and direct managers and teams in the design and development of broad creative and resourceful programs and procedures.
  • Applies highly advanced concepts in decision-making and problem-solving activities.
