About The Position

The Executive Director (ED), Primary Health Care supporting NE 3,4,6 is a senior leadership role responsible for advancing integrated, patient-centered care across the north, with oversight of both Primary Health Care and Mental Health and Addictions services. Reporting to the Vice President, Integrated Northern Health, the ED contributes to provincial strategy by identifying system gaps, emerging needs, and opportunities for innovation to improve access, quality, and outcomes. The ED translates strategic priorities into actionable operational and business plans, ensuring effective implementation, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement. The role is accountable for achieving service delivery targets, optimizing resources, and advancing system integration across programs and partners. With executive oversight of Primary Health Care and Mental Health and Addictions Services – North East 3,4 6, the ED fosters a collaborative, high-performing culture grounded in leadership, accountability, and staff engagement. The role works cross-functionally and with external partners to strengthen relationships and deliver coordinated, high-quality services aligned with Saskatchewan Health Authority priorities.

Requirements

  • Ten (10) years leadership experience
  • Experience in strategic planning
  • Undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Demonstrates strong understanding of the Saskatchewan and Canadian healthcare systems.
