About The Position

The Executive Coordinator & Board Liaison is a full-time role supporting TechTown’s Chief Executive Officer and Chief Program Officer. The position keeps the Office of the CEO running smoothly, serves as Board Liaison to the Corporate Secretary on governance and board stewardship, and manages the organization-wide meeting calendar in partnership with Human Resources. The role suits someone who can work effectively in a nimble nonprofit, alongside Wayne State University, and turn ideas into clear presentations and practical systems. The successful candidate will model TechTown’s values of inclusion, excellence, humanity, curiosity, accessibility, and collaboration while bringing discipline and organization to leadership and board operations. The role requires discretion when handling sensitive information and professionalism when working with executives, board members, university partners, staff, and the community. TechTown team members work a hybrid schedule with three in-office days each week. For this role, four in-office days are recommended because of its close work with the C-suite; the fourth day flexes around board meetings, events, and leadership sessions. Remote work is available when needed.
