About The Position
Sodexo Campus Services is looking for an Executive Chef 4 to join our team at one of our high-profile accounts at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University located in Daytona Beach, FL. This chef is the Campus Executive Chef, overseeing all culinary and BOH operations for the entire campus operations, and will have a proven history in managing multiple Executive Chefs and director-level quality leadership. Sodexo provides college campuses with food, nutrition, environmental, and facilities management solutions. Requirements
- A strong culinary background, with the demonstrated ability to stay current with new culinary trends
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to maintain the highest of culinary standards
- Strong coaching and employee development skills
- Have a passion for food and innovation
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years management experience
- Minimum 3 years functional experience
Responsibilities
- Be responsible for purchasing, menu compliance, inventory, food cost analysis and food production forecasting
- Ensure Sodexo Culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented
- Have the ability and willingness to develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations
- Ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standard compliance
- Have working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems
