About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a skilled Executive Chef 1 to support culinary operations at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, nutritional knowledge, and strong leadership skills to ensure high-quality food service that supports patient health, meets regulatory standards, and enhances the overall dining experience for residents, patients, staff, and guests.

Requirements

  • A strong culinary background in a high-volume environment
  • Strong leadership skills and experience
  • Menu planning experience and a strong understanding of current culinary trends
  • Proficient computer skills, highly organized, and detail-focused
  • Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 2 years minimum management experience
  • 1 year minimum functional experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and standardize all culinary systems and procedures for hospital
  • Supervise, develop, and mentor frontline staff
  • Procurement and purchasing
  • Assist with creating menus based on client needs
  • Create interpersonal relationships with clients
