About The Position

The Executive Chef is responsible for overseeing all culinary operations, including food preparation, sanitation, inventory, training, and administrative duties. This role requires a strong commitment to achieving operational objectives, maintaining regular attendance, and upholding professional standards in appearance and demeanor. The Executive Chef must lead by example and be prepared to work varying schedules to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation and plating of all menu items
  • Cleaning of the line and work areas
  • Preparation of base items (sauces, portioning goods, ingredient processing)
  • Conduct regular food safety and sanitation inspections and Workplace Safety Inspections
  • Expediting food from the front line
  • Inventory, ordering and stocking of supplies
  • Training new employees and coaching current staff including sous chefs
  • Coordination of repair and maintenance
  • Administrative duties including manager log entries, invoice coding and staff documentation
