About The Position

The Executive Chef leads culinary operations for a multi-venue dining program serving more than 600 covers daily. This hands-on role oversees daily à la minute and high-volume production while maintaining high standards for food quality, consistency, presentation, and safety. In partnership with the General Manager and Food & Beverage leadership, the Executive Chef drives menu execution and innovation, develops and mentors the culinary team, optimizes kitchen operations, and delivers an outstanding resident dining experience.

Requirements

A minimum of 3 years of Executive Chef experience.
Knowledge of à la carte and catering trends, with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and food presentation.
Good knowledge of PC software and POS systems, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop the culinary team, promoting excellence, accountability, and collaboration.
Oversee daily culinary operations across multiple dining venues, ensuring food quality, consistency, presentation, and food safety.
Partner with Food & Beverage leadership to drive menu innovation, operational excellence, and an outstanding resident dining experience.
Ensure compliance with Health Department, HACCP, and food safety standards while maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
Manage food and labor costs through purchasing, inventory control, scheduling, and waste reduction.
Maintain a visible presence in dining venues, build relationships with residents, and respond to feedback to improve the dining experience.
